Happy Halloween!

I hope you're all having a fantastic Halloween. We've been doing Halloween crafts over the past few weeks and today we'll be baking biscuits and cakes and tonight we'll be handing out sweets to the trick or treaters. I love Halloween and try to have lots of fun with it.

You can see the Top Ten Pets in Halloween Costume list I compiled here

I wanted to write a Halloween short story but didn't have time but you can my story from last year here

I also compiled a Top Ten list of favourite Halloween songs here last year, with my absolute favourite here. Me and the children also made up our own Halloween song a few years ago called Pointy Witch Hat.

How do you spend Halloween?

  1. I'll hopefully be spending Halloween as quietly as possible. DD is off to a party, so I should be able to watch tv in peace, for once. :)

    1. What is this peace you speak of? It doesn't happen very often so I've forgotten!

  2. As my kids are grown up, I don't get to do much at Halloween except have a big bowl of sweets by the door for the neighbourhood kids. This year, however, we weren't home! I had the sweets by the door and then my husband suggested a trip to London and a meal out - I was hardly going to say no, was I?! Now I have a huge bowl of lollipops and chewy things going begging! There's an award for you over on my blog, by the way! :-)

    1. I'd choose the trip to London and a meal too!

      Thanks for my award :-)

  3. Hmm, Hallowe'en! It's usually spend the same as any other night. Living in Central London, we don't have any trick or treaters!

    1. We had almost no trick or treaters either - we almost ran out of sweets last year but only had 4 this year.
