Halloween/Bonfire Weekend

I hope you've all had a great weekend. We've been busy for the past week with Halloween crafts and my daughters had fun trick or treating on Friday evening. I made lots of little witches hats filled with sweets for the trick or treaters - and they all went! Whatever I make next year, I'll have to make sure I make extra.

My youngest daughter dressed as Elsa to go trick or treating while her older sister went as a cat (but I don't have a photo as she went for a sleepover at her friend's house and they went together).

The photo on the bottom right is of a banana covered in white chocolate. It is a ghost and not something ruder as has been suggested by certain members of my (dirty-minded) family...

There are more of our Halloween activities on my Halloween Pinterest board

Last night, we went to a bonfire and fireworks display as it will be Bonfire Night on Wednesday. I love this time of year as there are so many fun things going on, with Halloween and Bonfire Night and Christmas just around the corner!

About thirty seconds after these photos were taken, my youngest started complaining that she was cold and tired and she watched most of the fireworks from inside!

Did you celebrate Halloween? And will you watching (or like us already have watched) any fireworks?
