I have managed to do some things other than blow my nose (repeatedly) and dose myself up with medicine (though mostly from the semi-comfort of the sofa or bed) so here goes...
Confession: I haven't worked on anything since I handed The Single Mums' Picnic Club to my editor at the end of February. I usually start planning the next book while I wait for the edits to come back, but that would have interrupted my feeling-sorry-for-myself state. I needed a bit of a break though, as I've been working towards back-to-back deadlines for almost a year and I was feeling a bit worn down. I have, however, started to plot the next book in my head (I really can't help it) and I'm looking forward to getting some ideas down on paper (and screen).
I've just started reading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. I've heard lots of great things about the book so I've been looking forward to diving in!
At the beginning of the month, I was too fuzzy-headed and eye-strain-y to read much, but as I started to feel less crap, I started picking my books up again, swapping one bug (never-ending cold) for another (the much more pleasant reading bug).
During March, I read:
Goodbye Ruby Tuesday (A L Michael)
Saving Sophie (Sam Carrington)
We Are All Made of Stars (Rowan Coleman)
How To Fall In Love (Cecelia Ahern)
The Brighton Mermaid (Dorothy Koomson) and
The Treatment (C L Taylor)
I'm still working my way through a Friends re-watch (I've just started Season Eight) and I've enjoyed the finale of dancing On Ice and the return of Saturday Night Takeaway. After discovering and then catching up on all eight series of Vera, I decided to give Shetland a go (the books are by the same author) and although I prefer Vera, I did enjoy the series and will carry on watching.
Snow days, Easter crafts and treats, bookish childhood faves, my crochet triumphs and sleepy Luna.

So, that's what I've been up to over the past few weeks. I hope March was a good one for you with no annoying germs, and I hope you had a happy Easter and aren't left feeling too sickly from over-indulging on chocolate! Let us know what you've been up to/reading in the comments below :)
You sound like you've been very busy. I Hope You feel must better soon. Debs X
